So my new phone has provided me with endless hours of fun. I'm probably one of the first Americans (nay, North Americans) to own this phone since the K800i's North American counterpart isn't slated for release until probably the end of Q3. The K800i is currently the highest resolution cameraphone on the market at 3.2 megapixels. The firmware and features makes this a much more powerful phone than the RAZR which American consumers have fawned over since its release last year (albeit, this gain in power comes at the price of a larger form factor).
Anyhow, I'm sure no one really gives a shit, but here are some trial shots from my first few days with my beloved K800i.

It started as a reminder to google Martha's Vineyard. Why we needed to google it, I've already forgotten. It ended up as a reminder of the plight of the pigs. Regardless of intent, Mer and I finished this masterpiece with drunken precision of vision.

All I can say is kudos to Poker Stars for their new VIP Club. The VIP Club is based on FPP, or "frequent player points". FPP are accrued in ring games per a rake cap. (See: Bonus Whores for a more details.)
Up until this point, FPPs have meant nothing to the ring game player. (Unless they wanted to redeem them for chinchy Chucky Cheese-like prizes.) Tourney players could use FPP to enter SNGs for a chance at an entry to the weekly $500K guarenteed (= 215 $T), which gave FPP some semblance of a cash value. But now, with the addition of electronics to the FPP store, players finally have a way to easily liquidate their FPP to cash by buying these electronics and selling them at market price.
So with all the FPP I've accrued on Stars, I'm getting 5 4GB iPod Nanos. Yeah, I hate iPods, but I might actually keep one for myself. The rest are going straight to ebay, hopefully to sell for around $200 each. One thing's for sure, though, I really regret all those FPP I wasted playing those SNGs when I wanted a "free" tilt. Now it's clear I was just wasting hundred of dollars. Oh well, still feels like free money to me. :-P |

And I reiterate, I love cats!

Addendum: Anyone else think reiterate is the most pointlessly redundant word in the English language? |

I almost smiled tonight because I thought someone was smiling my way. Then I realized they were probably just laughing at me. |

I was driving around slightly stoned yesterday on Prospect when I
decided a turn into this little side street so I could turn around. Low
and behold, it was the elusive entrance to Ford Lake Park--something
I'd been looking for since I came to this area. I stayed for two and a
half hours, walking around and taking a few hundred pics. I'll put a
few behind a cut. But, be forewarned, these images are larger...

I went home to Trenton to have an end of midterms party with Meredyth. Yeah, I know, I still have one midterm coming up this week, but it doesn't really count.
